ST. CLOUD — A Sherburne County resident in their early 50s was among the 10 COVID-19 deaths reported in Minnesota Saturday, according to a daily report from the Minnesota Department of Health.

There were 1,723 new confirmed and probable cases reported statewide Saturday, according to the report.

Stearns County reported 57 new cases Saturday, Benton County reported 17 and Sherburne County reported 46. There were no new deaths to the disease reported in Stearns or Benton counties Saturday.

Statewide, the number of people who tested positive for COVID-19 reached 577,524  on Saturday and 7,154 people have died, according to the health department.
