Boris Johnson will unveil the Government’s lockdown exit strategy today.
The Prime Minister has said the “road map” out of the third national lockdown it will be a “cautious approach” and will be led by the data.
The UK has been in its current lockdown to protect against coronavirus for seven weeks, since January 4.
The PM will outline the Government’s plans in the House of Commons this afternoon (February 22) at 3.30pm.
The reopening of schools has already been announced as a priority, with schools widely expected to return on March 8.
Mr Johnson will also be making a televised press conference to the public at 7pm this evening
